Hotels in Jim Corbett National Park, India
Jim Corbett National Park sits in the foothills of the Himalayas in northern India. It's famous for Bengal tigers and was the first national park in India, established in 1936. The climate is hot and humid in summer (up to 95°F or 35°C) and cool in winter (down to 40°F or 5°C). In winter (November to February), you can take jeep safaris into the Dhikala zone for the best tiger sightings when the vegetation is sparse. In summer (March to June), birdwatching is great along the Ramganga River, where you'll spot hornbills and kingfishers. Monsoon rains (July to October) close most zones, so plan your trip between November and June.
